Spring Middle School 5 on 5   website
Mid March thru end of April. 6-7-8 grade 5 on 5 indoor NFL football at the Soccer Zone in Cedar Park. This program provides Middle School age players a fun and exciting opportunity to engage in non-contact, continuous action while learning lessons in teamwork. Teams are separated by grades as they compete for bragging local rights. We are the local NFL League organizer. Launched in 2005, the Middle school FLAG Football program is designed to educate young people about football while emphasizing sportsmanship helping players learn skills and lessons that help them succeed both on and off the field. The game is 5 on 5 flag football that teaches the basic skills of football running, passing, receiving and defending. Games involve non-contact rules that eliminate all forms of blocking and tackling. The program is played on a 50-yard playing field where participants may run or pass the ball. Teams start at their 5-yard line and have three downs to move the ball past midfield. Once a team has crossed midfield they receive a new set of three downs to score. One exciting aspect of the program is the equipment…all players get actual NFL team flag football jerseys (Players get to keep the jersey). Teams play a complete season and all teams make the playoff tournament.

Tournaments

Prime Time Sports 7on7 Tournaments    website
2005 is a big year for Prime Time Sports as we offer our first 7 on 7 Football Tournaments. Many of you have come to know Prime Time Sports as a quality provider of youth basketball tournaments. We know that you'll find that we bring the same Prime Time Sports focus on creating outstanding playing opportunities for the teams and players entered in our 7 on 7 Football Tournaments. Compare our features to other tournaments: Our tournaments have a 3 game guarantee. Winning teams will likely play 4 or 5 games. We only employ officials that are certified by the state organization for football officials. We provide individual awards to pool winners and team awards to division champions. Each game will have a visible scoreboard - you won't have to wonder what the score is late in the game. We offer online registration. We always have a person from our management team present at a tournament site - you'll never hear: It's the local director's problem. While some tournaments use non-certified officials to reduce costs, we strongly feel that quality officials are an important feature of a quality 7 on 7 Football Tournament.
