The "Last Great Colorado Ski Town has maintained it's old west mining and ranching character for over 150 years.
Our family makes available a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condominium located on Mt. Crested Butte. The superbly furnished condiminium is located at the first stop on CB's award winning ski slope/town transportation service. The unit is located approx. 800 yards from the base of the mountain. The condo building has, located on-site...a full size indoor pool, large hot tub, entertainment/rec. room, complete laundry facilities, a full service ski/snowboard rental shop and a well-stocked ground floor general store.
 Winter
Big, open
and uncrowded, Crested Butte is the "Last Great Colorado Ski Town" and a true winter paradise. Skiers and snowboarders will revel on the Mountain's thousand plus acres of terrain ranging from beginner groomers to extreme gladed steeps. Fourteen chair lifts service 2,700 feet of vertical relief. The terrain park and improved half pipe offer innovative options for aspiring and experienced freestylers. During the winter Crested Butte boasts 1,160 skiable acres with more double-black diamond terrain than any other resort in Colorado. For the hearty, back-country skiing is plentiful as well. If your skiing preference is Telemark, CB is home to some of the best Telemark skiers in the world and all of the shops support and rent tele and randonee gear. If cross-country is more your style, check out CB's famed Nordic Center . We are so lucky to have some of Colorado's best food and entertainment here in Crested Butte. Dine at one of our many world renowned eateries and give your palate a treat.
Crested Butte has twice hosted the ESPN Winter XGames and is home to the US Extreme Skiing and Snowboard Championships, which is held here every year.
Crested Butte Mountain Resort offers programs ranging from adult and kid's ski and snowboard classes to race workshops and special programs.
 Summer
In the summer Crested Butte offers scenic hiking and endless mountain biking trails. The Crested Butte Art, Balloon, Wildflower and Film Festivals provide engaging entertainment during the summer months, and the Crested Butte Music Festival brings some of the best orchestral musicians in the world together for a full week of indoor and outdoor concerts. At the height of the summer, Crested Butte is abloom with native wildflowers making for the perfect excuse to take a mountain drive. Crested Butte has become the Mountain Bike Capital" (and town bike capital) of Colorado and the summer mountainscapes are dotted with
high altitude bikers wandering the many single tracks in an around CB. If you skate or skateboard, bring your wheels, CB has a super "free" skate park complete with pool and rails. Crested Butte also offers great fly fishing, kayaking, white water rafting, hiking, 12,13 and 14er peak bagging, rock climbing, hunting, golfing, camping (a great two day trek to Aspen). You've decorated the rooms nicely, and it looks as though they are trying to give the whole building a face lift. I can't believe how much construction is going on here on the mountain! Wow!
