 ABOUT LTYA: The Lake Travis Youth Association is a private, non-profit organization founded in 1981 to provide recreational opportunities for the youth of Lake Travis. Today the LTYA serves over 6,000 children annually in 12 sports leagues and numerous other programs. The LTYA receives no local, state, or federal funding, and must rely on membership revenues and private sponsorship in order to continue serving your children.
PHILOSOPHY: Although coaches will be expected to maintain a safe, positive, and nurturing environment for all participants, and is recreational, in nature. Coaches will be expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship. Mandatory playing time rules will be in effect.
ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS: All boys and girls currently in grades K through 6 are invited to participate.
ADMITTANCE POLICY: League size is limited. Only current LTYA members are guaranteed admittance! Others, including members, may be turned away if registration exceeds league capacity. So please have returned your form to LTYA by the designated deadline. If you are unsure about your membership status, contact a board member here .
AGE DIVISIONS: Girls: Grade 1 & 2, Grade 3 & 4, Grade 5 & 6. Boys: Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3, Grade 4, Grade 5, Grade 6.
TEAM FORMATION: Please do not request teams or coaches as LTYA is unable to fulfill any requests. All divisions will be drafted within several days of the registration.
SCHEDULE AND LOCATION: All games will take place at LTISD campus gymnasiums.
LEAGUE PLAY: League games will be officiated by LTYA referees using high school rules and some modified LTYA rules.
COACHES: All coaches and assistants are volunteers. Head coaches must attend the mandatory coaches meeting. Date and time of the meeting will be determined at a later date. If you are interested in volunteering, please indicate so on your childs registration form As the size of our leagues continue to grow, our volunteer base must expand to meet the demand. If you can offer your assistantance, please do. We could use your help.

SPONSORSHIP: Business or individuals may purchase sponsorships for the team of their choosing. The cost of sponsorship is $250 per team.
