While this may be their first restaurant, Beth and Kent Hayner are no strangers to the restaurant business.  For 25 years they toured America, with entertainer's from Frank Sinatra to ZZ Top, working as backstage caterers. The restaurant's called Backstage, but the food deserves the spotlight. Talented Chef Raymond Tatum (formerly of Jeffery's and Jean-Pierre's Upstairs) prepares a memorable menu. Located on Texas 71 about 10 minutes west of the Village of Bee Cave, Backstage has a refined Texas ambience, with sturdy wooden chairs decorated with carved stars, tables covered in green linens over white underclothes, and some great framed memorabilia from the Hayners' travels. Complete bar, impressive wine list. Great food, great music, great fun.
